We Fly Tomorrow!
Well, today (Thursday) was another free day in Guangzhou. We were waiting on Joelle's visa to get into the US. It rained all day long so we did not get out much. We spent a lot of time playing in the Swan Room and talking to many of the people in our group. We did get out briefly to eat at the deli next door and run to a shop or two. We received our our visa at 5pm and then went out to dinner with our friends, the Ayers.
Tomorrow our flight leaves at 9pm. We will fly directly from Guangzhou to Los Angeles. Please pray that Joelle sleeps most of the flight as it will be a very difficult flight otherwise. Thirteen hours on a plane with a three year old - well, you can imagine. We will spend the night in L.A. and catch a flight the next day to Atlanta. We are going to try and get an earlier flight out if it is at all possible. Our regular flight is scheduled to get into Atlanta late at night on Saturday which will make it hard on everyone. We are eager to get home and back to a "normal" routine - whatever that might be.Thank you to Mike and Lynn for posting these letters to our blog. We cannot access it from China but we can send e-mails, thankfully. We appreciate all of your prayers throughout this process! When we get home we will try to post more pictures. Love you all! Sherrie, Mike, Zoe and Joelle
4/23/10 9:00am/EST.We see a beautiful litte baby doll, we hear she is a handful, we speak only joy at her arrival! You are in the air now & I hope you are seeing the stars twinkle thru little windows, hearing only lullabys, speaking only in gentle whispers. Zoe you will be a wonderful big sister! I can almost hear the sound of giggles & running feet. Can I come & play ??
