Adoptive/Foster Mom Tea

I am so excited about our first support group meeting of adoptive, foster and soon to be adoptive moms!  The group was small but very good. We had one other lady join us shortly after this photo was taken. Some of us did not know each other, so we each shared our story. It was interesting to see how different our stories were. I had many people call and e-mail expressing their desire to meet. This is the last two weeks of school, so many people had functions to attend. Others were working or homeschooling their little ones.

No matter the size I really came away feeling that it was a success. The last person left at 1pm and it started at 10:30am. My heart feels really full right now!
